The National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at Vidya Sanskaar Institute of Science, Commerce, and Management, established in the academic year 2017-2018, has been a vibrant platform for nurturing social responsibility, leadership skills, and community engagement among students. The unit actively participates in national and state-level initiatives, conducts special camps, and organizes various outreach programs to create a positive impact on society while fostering holistic development in its volunteers.

Special Camps:

The NSS unit has organized 05 Special Camps over the years, focusing on rural development, heritage conservation, environmental awareness, and social empowerment. These camps are held annually at different locations, providing students with opportunities to directly engage with communities and address their needs.

  • 2019-20: Magadi (Someshwara Temple)
  • Activities: Heritage conservation drives, temple cleaning, sanitation awareness, and cultural preservation.

  • 2020-21: Tavarekere
  • Activities: Cleanliness drives, plantation programs, and health awareness campaigns.

  • 2021-22: Kithnahalli
  • Activities: Literacy initiatives, water conservation programs, and health check-ups.

  • 2022-23: Mochohalli
  • Activities: Environmental drives, women empowerment workshops, and skill development programs.

  • 2023-24: Domrahalli
  • Activities: Village beautification, rural entrepreneurship workshops, and welfare programs.

Republic Day Camp (RD):

State-Level Youth Camp:
